Three-tier security arrangements have been made with innermost layer of CPMF For Dhamnagar Vote Counting Tomorrow

Bhadrak:5/11/22: Counting of votes for Dhamnagar by-poll will be held on Sunday amid tight security at Bhadrak Collecrtorate.

Three-tier security arrangements have been made with innermost layer of CPMF, there after state armed police and then Odisha Police to manage outermost layer, Chief Electoral Officer SK Lohani informed.

The counting will start at 8.00 am at Sanskruti Bhawan near Collectorate, a communication issued by the EC said.

As a first round, the Postal Ballot Counting will be taken up. From 8.30 AM onwards   Counting from Votes polled in EVMs will be taken up.

There are 14 counting table arranged for the counting of EVM and one counting table for RO where postal ballot counting will take place.

There will be 18 rounds of counting as 252 booths are there in the constituency. Lastly, the counting from VVPAT(Voter verifiable paper audit trail) of  randomly selected 05 booths will be taken up for cross verification.

ECI has deputed an observer to oversee the entire counting process.

Every counting table will have a counting supervisor and one one assistant. In addition, one micro observer belonging to Central Government will also be deputed who will report to observer.

Proper arrangements have been made for dissemination of round wise result.

Counting agents nominated by candidates will also be present to observe the counting. Candidate or his election agent can also be present inside the counting hall.

Apart from announcement of result at the venue, the same will also be available to general public through the website results.eci.gov.in.

At CEO office arrangement is being made for disseminating round wise result to media.
