Managing Director of Bank Note Paper Mill India Private Limited called on Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik

Bhubaneswar:13/7/22: A day after an RBI team visited Balasore district to take stock of situation for setting up a banknote paper mill, a delegation of Bank Note Paper Mill (BNPM) India Pvt. Ltd today met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for the project.

The delegation comprising of top executives of the company including Managing Director Thalikerappa S briefed CM Patnaik about the proposed project.

The BNPM India Pvt Ltd, a joint venture of Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran Private Ltd, is planning to set up a bank note paper mill at Padabadagaon village under Remuna Block in Balasore district at an investment of Rs 2,500 crore.

CM Patnaik assured the delegation of providing complete support to the company for the proposed project in Balasore.

On Tuesday, a three-member team from Reserve Bank of India had visited Padabadagaon village on the outskirts of Balasore town for the proposed project.

According to reports, about 100 acres of land will be acquired to set up the bank note paper mill in Odisha.
