Odisha CM has inaugurated 13 industrial projects worth ₹2359.29 Cr across 9 districts

Bhubaneswar;11/1/22:In a major boost to MakeIn Odisha, CM Shri Naveen Patnaik has broken ground/inaugurated 13 industrial projects worth ₹2359.29 Cr across 9 districts that will generate jobs for 3220+ people. The projects are in tourism, logistics, manufacturing, food processing, cement, steel sectors.
CM inaugurated cement grinding unit in Jajpur and Bio-degradable tableware manufacturing unit in Balangir and broke ground for Iron Ore Beneficiation plant in Kendujhar, 3 Ethanol plants in Bargarh, Jharsuguda & Angul, 5-star Resort by Swosti Group at Puri. Groundbreaking was also performed for 4-star hotel Prachi Resorts at Bhubaneswar, 2 manufacturing units for Electrical sensors & Self Adhesive BOPP, and 1 Logistic park in Khordha, Packaged Foods & Spices unit in Cuttack, and Iron Ore Pipe Conveying System, Kendujhar.
Speaking on the occasion, CM said that Odisha is fast emerging as the ‘Manufacturing Hub of Eastern India’. State Government’s progressive policy framework and regulatory environment have enabled the rapid growth of industries in the state, CM added.CM said that ease of doing business reforms, facilitation provided by various departments have ensured that businesses continue to grow in Odisha. CM said that we endeavored to provide a hassle-free, smooth doing business environment for the investors in Odisha.
