Prof Savita Acharya, Vice-Chancellor launched the eOffice at Utkal University

Bhubaneswar:29/12/21: Prof Savita Acharya, Vice-Chancellor launched the eOffice at Utkal University on Wednesday. Utkal University is the third University of Odisha, under the Higher Education Department to implement eOffice.

It was decided by the Government of Odisha last June that eOffice will be implemented in all the Government Universities under the Higher Education Department.

In his Welcome Address, Dr. Abhaya Kumar Nayak, Registrar, Utkal University informed that as of today, eOffice has been implemented in 148 Government Offices.

eOffice has been proved to be very useful to operate office remotely, especially during this pandemic period.

“It is a proud moment that Ravenshaw is the first university of the state, under the Higher Education Department. eOffice is being implemented under the 5Ts initiative of the Government. With the implementation of eOffice all the 5Ts, i.e. Transparency, Technology Teamwork, Time, and Transformation can be achieved. Under the 5Ts Initiative of the GA(AR) & PG Department, eOffice is being implemented by the Center for Modernizing Government Initiative (CMGI) & NIC, Odisha.”

Kavita Roy Das, SIIO, NIC eOffice gave a detailed Overview of eOffice. Roy told that the eOffice is a Mission Mode Project under the National E-Governance Plan initiated in 2009. eOffice is developed by National Informatics Centre (NIC) and is being implemented through the Center for Modernizing Government Initiative (CMGI), under the GA & PG Department of Odisha Government.29/12/21:
