Odisha Mining Corporation organised a Customer Meet for the buyers of Iron, Chrome, and Bauxite ores

Bhubaneswar:8/121/21: As part of its practice to strengthen the business process by creating supplier-buyer harmony, Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) organised a Customer Meet for the buyers of Iron, Chrome, and Bauxite ores at Bhubaneswar on Wednesday.

The meet was organised by following the Covid-19 protocol where a large number of representatives from mineral-based industries in the state attended the interactive session and shared their views. OMC Chairman DK Singh presided over the session.

Addressing the customers Singh said, “The prime objective of OMC is to promote mineral-based industries in the state and OMC will take all steps to increase the mineral availability at market price to the industries based in Odisha as well as across the country.

Managing Director, OMC, Balwant Singh welcomed the buyers’ representatives and envisioned the growth path of OMC which can be mutually achieved with the support of its customers.

The buyers appreciated the proactive customer-oriented approach adopted by OMC and informed that the steps taken by the Corporation in technical and digital up-gradation and other pro-customer approaches have been quite beneficial and industry-friendly.

MD, OMC addressed the suggestions from major buyers and invited their feedback to mitigate the logistics issues so that its a win-win situation for both OMC and its esteemed customers. Functional Directors and senior officials from OMC were present on the occasion.
