‘Victory Flame’ of the Swarnim Vijay Varsh-2021 was given a grand welcome at the Frontier Headquarter

Bhubaneswar:1/11/21 ‘Victory Flame’ of the Swarnim Vijay Varsh-2021 was given a grand welcome at the Frontier Headquarter (Special Ops) of Border Security Force (BSF) here today.

The Victory Flame was delivered at the BSF Headquarters by Col. Jaswant Singh of the 120 Battalion in a pipe band procession with full military honours.

The Victory Flame was received by Dhirendra Kumar DIG (Ops) at the BSF’s Ftr THQ (Spl Ops) here. The Victory Flame was installed at the headquarters.

Speaking to BSF jawans at a special function organised for the occasion, Kumar highlighted the BSF’s role and achievements during the 1971 war in which Pakistan was defeated and a new nation Bangladesh was created.

A two-minute silence was observed to pay respects to those who had sacrificed their lives in the 1971 war.
