Jalada Kumar Tripathy took oath as the new Chief Information Commissioner of Odisha.

Bhubaneswar: 5/10/21;Jalada Kumar Tripathy today took oath as the new Chief Information Commissioner of Odisha.

Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal administered the oath of office to Tripathy as the newly appointed State Chief Information Commissioner at a function organised by the Information & Public Relations Department at the Abhishek Hall of the Raj Bhawan.

Principal Secretary I & PR Department Bishnupada Sethi after obtaining permission of the Governor read out the warrant of appointment of the State Chief Information Commissioner.

After the oath-taking, Sethi declared the function closed.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik joined the function through video conferencing.

Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra, Development Commissioner, and Additional  Chief Secretary Pradeep  Kumar  Jena, Principal Secretary to Governor Saswat Mishra, family members of the State Chief Information Commissioner, Director I & PR Indramani Tripathy, Director (Technical) Niranjan  Sethi,  Additional  Director Surendra Nath Parida, Joint Secretary Bishnupriya Sahu and other senior officers of the I & PR Department were present on this occasion.
