Former director of CBI Umashankar Mishra passes away

Bhubaneswar:26/8/21: Former director of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Umashankar Mishra passes away on Thursday. He died at a private hospital in New Delhi this afternoon.

Mishra, the 1968-batch officer was the only IPS officer from Odisha to hold the top post in CBI. He was appointed as the new Director of the agency in 2003 and had succeeded PC Sharma.
