ESL Steel celebrates Independence Day on the theme “Nation First, Always First”

Bokaro:16/8/21:–To celebrate India’s 75th Independence Day, ESL Steel Limited, a Vedanta Group Company and a key national steel player, held a mega event among all its employees on the theme “Nation First, Always First,” announced by our Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi Ji.The steel major kickstarted the event by a parade followed by hoisting the tricolour in the presence of the entire workforce and the chief guest, N.L. Vhatte, CEO, ESL Steel Limited.For being sincere in their duties and displaying exceptional talents time and again, the company also felicitated some of the outstanding employees and security guards with prizes

Speaking on the occasion, N.L. Vhatte, CEO, ESL Steel Limited said, “Gradually becoming India’s leading sustainable steel player, we have a lot of responsibility lying on our shoulders. We have been entrusted with creating a reliable, strong, and better world compared to any developed nation. To achieve that, ESL is laying strong foundations in every critical field, including healthcare, education, sports, and employment generation. These initiatives are a testimony of our commitment to the growth of the state of Jharkhand and our nation. On the auspicious occasion, I would like to remind everyone to stay focused on achieving company goals aligned with India’s development and well-being. I would like to congratulate and wish everyone a Happy Independence Day! Let us all resolve to contribute towards the making of an AtmaNirbhar Bharat.”

 Intended to inculcate a spirit of unity, the momentous occasion also witnessed sweets distribution and a volleyball match among the employees. The event concluded with a mega lunch to evoke a sense of belonging and bring everyone under one roof, once again.
