Dengue cases are rising in Bhubaneswar with the detection of 46 more cases

Bhubaneswar: 7/8/21:Dengue cases are rising unabated in Bhubaneswar with the detection of 46 more cases in the last 24 hours.

The city’s dengue tally climbed to 877 with the detection of the new cases, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) said.

Sensitization and cleaning activities have been intensified in the city. In the last 24 hours, teams of the BMC visited 7581 households in the city and collected data on 31,496 persons.

The civic body’s teams destroyed  25,867 possible mosquito breeding sources and identified and destroyed mosquito larva found in 25771 sources.

While two dengue wards have been opened in Capital Hospital, it is also providing free testing to symptomatic people.
