‘Van Mahotsav’program has been successfully celebrated at Govt. High school, Unit1, Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar:17/7/21; The Odisha Government has decided to take up a massive plantation drive in all schools across the state on campaign mode, as part of ‘Van Mahotsav’for enhancing ‘Green Coverage’. In an endeavor towards maintaining its green campus and spreading the message of conserving nature, Govt.  high school, Unit1, Bhubaneswar celebrated Van Mahotsav.

The ‘Van Mahotsav’program has been successfully celebrated at Govt. High school, Unit1, Bhubaneswar. The august presence of Sri. SatyabratSahu, IAS, Principal Secretary of School & Mass education department, Govt. of Odisha as the chief guest has made the program more special. He advised to the students planting a tree every year.

Ex-Chief secretary as well as the mentor of school Sri. Bijay Kumar Pattnaik also gave an inspiring speech to students and teachers on the importance of ‘Van Mahotsav’.

Sri. Gangadhar Sahoo, Director of SCERT, Sri. BrundabanSatpathy, DEE(O), Smt. Bandana Mohapatra,DEOKhurdha, Smt. Snigdha Mishra, ADEO, Khurdha, Dr. Prangya Paramita Jena, BEO, Bhubaneswar made the occasion more effective and prosperous.

The program was well organized with the efforts of Sri. MadhumadhabJena, President of Alumni, Sri Pradip Ku. Sahoo, School Development Committee, Smt. Susree Sangita Panda, Head Master and all teachers of the school.
