Monsoon Session of Parliament to commence from 19th July and conclude on 13th August

Newdelhi:12/7/21:Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has said that the Monsoon Session of Parliament will commence from 19th this month and conclude on 13th August.

Talking exclusively to AIR News, Mr. Birla said, there will be 19 sittings during the session. He said, the sitting of both the houses will be held from 11 am to 6 pm.

Appreciating the higher productivity of the previous sessions, Mr. Birla said, members have actively participated in the sessions held amid the COVID-19 pandemic. He said elaborate security arrangements have been made for the smooth functioning of the Monsoon Session. He urged the members to get vaccinated.
The Speaker today took stock of preparations for the Monsoon Session. He sought support of political parties to ensure smooth functioning of Parliament. He also appealed to the members to actively participate in the discussion and avoid disruption of the house.
