Odia playback singer Tapu Mishra Critical, Family Seeks Financial Help

Bhubaneswar:18/6/21: The health of Odia playback singer Tapu Mishra has deteriorated further. Tapu, who is undergoing treatment for post-Covid-19 complications at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar will be in need of advanced treatment at Kolkata or Chennai, her family sources said.

“She needs to be shifted outside Odisha for advanced treatment. For the past two days, she is not responding to treatment. Her lungs have been severely damaged,” a relative of the noted Odia singer said.

She added that Tapu will need help from the Government and people for the treatment which is an expensive affair. “Her oxygen saturation level is dipping and the condition is critical. We need to make a decision soon. Our family seeks support from the people,” her family added.

Tapu’s family has requested assistance for her treatment in the bank account of her husband Deepak Pujahari or sister Dhrutidipa Mishra.
