Booking for driving licence test to begin from June 21 in 17 districts

Bhubaneswar:17/6/21:The State Transport Authority (STA) today allowed driving licence and vehicle-related services in 17 categories A districts as per lockdown order.

Booking for driving license test will be available from 11 am on June 21. The districts are Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Kalahandi, Balangir, Nuapada, Subarnapur, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Boudh, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Malkangiri and Rayagada.

Earlier on Wednesday Odisha’s govt has eased lockdown curbs as the state starts the unlock process in a phased manner.

“ The resumption of LL test and booking of slots for LL test will be notified later on in respect of all the districts. The application for new LL, new DL will be notified later on in respect of all the districts.  In case of emergent situation due to Covid pandemic leading to shutdown of the office, the test may be canceled at short notice,” read a notice of STA.
