Bhubaneswar:15/6/21: A total of 389 fresh Covid-19 cases were and deaths due to the disease were reported in the city in the last 24 hours, according to the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).

With the new positive cases detected, the total number of active Covid-19 cases in the city climbed to 3461 and the cumulative total of Covid cases in the city now stands at 84,836.

Similarly, with the three deaths due to Covid in the city in the last 24 hours, the death toll due to the disease now stands at 384.

Besides, 988 persons have recovered from Covid in the city during the last 24 hours and the cumulative total of recovered cases as on date stands at 80,970.

Out of the fresh Covid cases detected in the city, 338 are local contact cases and the remaining 51 are quarantine cases.
