Union Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Dharmendra Pradhan, inaugurated the vaccination camp

Bhubaneswar:2/6/21: Union Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Dharmendra Pradhan, inaugurated the vaccination camp today. IndianOil’s Odisha State Office in association with Apollo Hospital Bhubaneswar has organised the Vaccination Camp for the frontline workers. Employees, stakeholders, COVID frontline warriors, and other members of IndianOil family all put together around 200 doses per day continuously for 7 days (from 2nd to 8th June) are being planned to get vaccinated through this vaccination drive.

Pradhan thanked IndianOil for stepping forward towards vaccinating COVID warriors and for standing along with the Nation at this difficult time of the pandemic. He said, for a State Government, 50% of vaccines are arranged by Govt of India free of cost, 25 % will be by State Government itself free of cost, and rest 25% of vaccines will be by corporate under its corporate social responsibility for vaccinating frontline warriors for free of cost.

He also thanked Apollo Hospital Bhubaneswar and CII for their contribution and coordination in such noble work. He personally stood beside the frontline warriors while they were vaccinated and enquired about offline process of vaccination, registering, getting certificates, etc. He urged other companies like HPCL, BPCL, SAIL, NALCO, NTPC, MCL, Paradeep Port, BSNL and other PSUs to come forward for organising similar vaccination camp for the people of Odisha.
