Immunization At 1st Drive-In COVID Vaccination Centre

Bhubaneswar:8/5/21: COVID-19 vaccination of people aged above 45 years is underway at the first drive-in centre at the parking lot of Esplanade One shopping mall near Rasulgarh Square here today.

Eligible citizens who have received the first jab of the vaccine at private hospitals or Government facilities are driving into the parking lot of the shopping mall to get the second dose.

Today, 400 people will be vaccinated as per the slots allotted to them  while  500 slots will be available per day between May 10 and 15. Without slot booking, no vehicle will be allowed inside the parking lot for the vaccination, the BMC had said yesterday.

“Those aged above 45 years are getting vaccinated in a systematic and hygienic environment of the parking area. We are very thankful to the BMC for choosing our mall as a venue for the first drive-in vaccination,” said a mall official.
