Covid positive tally in Bhubaneswar crossed 50,000-mark as the city reported record 1,118 cases

Bhubaneswar:6/5/21: The Covid positive tally in Bhubaneswar crossed 50,000-mark as the city reported record of 1,118 cases. As per the data provided by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), a total of 50,448 Covid positive cases have been detected in the city till 9 AM on May 6.

Of the total positive cases detected in the city today, as many as 933 were local contact cases whereas 185 were quarantine cases.

The data further mentioned 673 Covid patients in the city recuperated from the disease in last 24 hours till 9 AM today.

So far, 40,288 Covid patients recovered from the disease while a total of 278 persons died of the disease in the city. The number of active cases stood at 9,861.
