Saraswatibai Phalke’s big contribution with her husband!

Dadasaheb Falke ji had built it with great intensity. Have written a lot before on their film attempts until this result came. But one important thing that is generally ignored is that the contribution of his wife Saraswatibai Ji in this Jaddojhad was equal!
Falke G filmed some scenes a year ago to check his camera and the construction process, like children’s play! Then he used a short film to get finance to make a feature film. They planted pea seed in a pot and kept a camera in front of it and took a frame of it growing every day for about a month. And she became a short experimental film, which was titled Marathi ‘Ankurachi Vadha’ (Growth of a Pea Plant). Saraswatibai Ji supported her in it. The development and performance of the film were also taught by Dadasaheb.
After that on the life of King Harishchandra, he thought of a feature film, Saraswatibai Ji sold his jewelry to raise a huge amount for him! Without this, this film would not have been produced! Then Dadasaheb used to discuss with him daily in the scriptwriting of this and she also contributed to the process. The big question before Dadasaheb in the casting of the film was who will play the role of Taramati; because it was not possible for a woman to work for cinema then. For this also he asked Saraswatibai Ji; but he denied it; because he had to take care of other responsibilities.
After this, during the filming of ‘Raja Harishchandra’, Saraswatibai Ji cooperated with Dadasaheb and the cameraman, in his placing and reflector addi. As well as all the people working for this she used to see the food and clothing arrangements. Then he also contributed his important contribution in post-production. This included film development, mixing, and editing. From performing to going to the film projector!
So this is how Dadasaheb Phalke created ‘Raja Harishchandra’. This was the invaluable contribution of his wife Saraswatibai Ji in the production of his first Indian feature film. It is said ′′ Behind a successful man there is a woman “!
The highest ‘Dadasaheb Phalke Award’ of our Indian Cinema field is dedicated to his name. Probably there is a prize in the name of Saraswatibai Ji!
Well, Dadasaheb Falke ji should restore ‘Bharat Ratna’, we have been saying/writing this for many years. Now it should be said that Dadasaheb and Saraswatibai ji are jointly honored with this!
Saraswatibai, who was called ′′ Kaki ′′ with respect then, my humble greetings to him and Dadasaheb on this occasion!!
