Odisha Governor appointed Prof Kamal Jeet Singh as the Vice-Chancellor of Madhusudan Law University

Cuttack:9/4/21: With Madhusudan Law College in Cuttack is all set to operate as a university from April 28, Governor and Chancellor of Universities Prof Ganeshi Lal appointed the first Vice-Chancellor for the educational institution.

The Governor appointed Prof Kamal Jeet Singh as the Vice-Chancellor of Madhusudan Law University for a period of four years with effect from the date he assumes office as such or until further orders whichever is earlier.

Currently, Prof Singh is working as a Member of the Himachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Commission. He has 27 years of experience in teaching and authored two books. He has successfully guided 17 Ph.D. scholars and 100 LLM students.

As per the official notification issued on April 7, all existing law colleges, both Government and private, except constituent law colleges of different universities of the state will come under the Madhusudan Law University.
