Odisha requests Railway Board to cancel all passenger carrying trains coming from Chhattisgarh

Bhubaneswar8/4/21; The Odisha government has requested the Railway Board to cancel all passenger-carrying trains coming from Chhattisgarh (originating/through passing) to Odisha from April 10.

In a letter to the Railway Board, Odisha’s Chief Secretary said,” All passengers traveling to Odisha, from anywhere by train, must have an RT-PCR negative test report of a maximum of 72 hours before the start of a journey or a second dose vaccination certificate.”

All the passengers carrying trains coming from Chhatisgarh to Odisha may be canceled with effect from April 10, 2021, till further advice. Indian Railways is requested to issue instructions to comply with the requirement, stated the letter.
