Odisha chief Minister reviewed the preparedness to fight the pandemic and emphasized the need for comprehensive precautionary measures

Bhubaneswar:24/3/21:In view of the deteriorating COVID19 situation in other states and the possibility of a second infection,  Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik reviewed the preparedness to fight the pandemic and emphasized the need for comprehensive precautionary measures and public awareness.
CM directed the District Collectors & SPs to regularly monitor compliance to COVID19 protocols and closely monitor the surveillance, testing programmes in their respective areas. CM advised launching a massive IEC campaign to provide important information to people. OdishaCares
CM reiterated the need to raise awareness on the use of masks, hand-hygiene and ensure that it is maintained, especially in public places. Advising the entire administration to understand the seriousness of the situation, CM urged all to re-dedicate themselves in the Covid War.
