Pipili Assembly Constituency will be held on April 17

Bhubaneswar:16/3/21: The Election Commission of India (ECI) today announced that by-election to Pipili Assembly Constituency will be held on April 17.

A gazette notification in this regard will be issued on Mach 23.

The last date for filing of  nomination papers is March 30 while the nominations will be scrutinized on March 31.  The last date for withdrawal of candidatures is April 3. Counting of votes will take place on May 2 .

By-poll to the constituency was necessitated after demise of former MLA late Pradeep Maharathy, who died on October 4 last year.
