Pune:9/2/21: In a glittering ceremony held at the Suryadatta Group of Institutions, Bhavdhan, Pune academician & author of repute, Dr.Adyasha Das was conferred with the prestigious ” Suryadatta National Award 2021″ by H.E. Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra, Bhagat Singh Koshyari for Excellence in the field of “Tourism & Indian Heritage”. The founder president and Chairman of the Suryadatta Group of Institutes, Dr. Sanjay Chordiya, and vice-president Sushama Sanjay Chordiya announced the awards earlier this week. Raja Murad, an eminent Bollywood actor graced the occasion as the Keynote speaker and Padma Bhushan Shri Vijay Bhatkar, Chancellor, Nalanda University as the Chairperson.
The Suryadatta National Awards are bestowed every year on 7th February, on the occasion of the Suryadatta Group’s Foundation Day Celebration, to eminent & exemplary personalities. The awards are a platform to recognize the professional excellence and seminal contribution of outstanding talents in various fields such as Education, Science & Technology, Healthcare & Medicine, Music, Social Service, Sports, Economics, Banking & Finance, etc.
“Dr. Adyasha’s consistent contributions in the field of Culture and Literature, in addition to academics demonstrates an extraordinary commitment. Her willingness to take on unique projects like research on the forgotten Chausathi Yogini Cult or the anonymous temples dotting her state and the interpretation of sacred space in temples across the world is remarkable,” the selection panel stated.
