Prof Sanjay Kumar Nayak has been appointed as the new Vice-Chancellor of Ravenshaw University

Cuttack:22/1/21: Prof Sanjay Kumar Nayak has been appointed as the new Vice-Chancellor of Ravenshaw University here for a period of four years. 

Currently, Prof Nayak serves as the Director General( Chief Academic Officer) of Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology, Chennai. He has more than 34 years of teaching experience and has authored 35 books.

He is the inventor of 25 Indian Patents and 30 Design Registrations. Nayak has also guided a DSc and 40 Ph.D. scholars.

“In exercise of powers conferred by Sub Section(1) read with Sub Section(7) of Section 6 of Odisha Universities (Amendment) Act 2020, Hon’ble Governor and Chancellor of Universities, Odisha Prof. Ganeshi Lal appointed Prof. Sanjay Kumar Nayak as Vice-Chancellor of Ravenshaw University for a period of four years with effect from the date he assumes office as such or until further orders whichever is earlier,” reads a Government notification.
