London-based Odia writer Mona Dash has been chosen for the International Eyelands Book Awards 2020

Cuttack:6/1/21: London-based Odia writer Mona Dash has been chosen for the International Eyelands Book Awards 2020 for her book A Roll Of The Dice.

Mona is an Engineer by profession and is currently working with a multinational software company in England. She is first from Odisha to get this award.

Mona is the daughter of noted poet Mamata Dash and late Dr Raghunath Dash. She is the daughter-in-law of Bimalprabha Mishra and late Dr. Kishore Chandra Mishra. She had earlier received several awards for her poems and stories. She has done Post Graduation in Creative Writing from London Metropolitan University. Mona is an alumna of St. Vincent’s School, Berhampur.

He has also carved out a niche for himself as a scribe of eminence after joining the profession in 1988. He is also an independent media production professional. He has been working as an Editor for Cine Samaya from 2002-2004.. He had made solid contribution on cinema in many odia Dailies and weekly such as Samaj, Prajatantra, Dharatri, Samaya, Satabadi, and weekly Samaya.
