COVID-19 positive tally in Odisha went up to 3,27,867

Bhubaneswar: 25/12/20; The COVID-19 positive tally in Odisha went up to 3,27,867 on Friday with 325 new cases reported overnight.

Of the new cases reported from 24 districts, 187 are in quarantine and 138 are local contacts.

Khurda district reported the highest of 36 new cases followed by Sundargarh (33) and Angul (32).

The new cases in other districts are: Balasore (28), Sambalpur (21), Cuttack (19), Mayurbhanj (18), Bargarh (18), Nuapada (18), Jajpur (17), Balangir (12), Jharsuguda (11), Keonjhar (11), Kendrapada (10), Kalahandi (5), Ganjam (5), Bhadrak (4), Deogarh (4), Nayagarh (4), Puri (4), Nawarangpur (2), Sonepur (2), Dhenkanal (1), and Jagatsinghpur (1).

Besides, the state pool has nine cases.

At present, Odisha has 2,989 active cases and 3,22,972 patients have recovered.
