‘Corona Warriors’ Infinite Sacrifice Ideal to Society’

New Delhi:22/10/20: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary leadership has made great strides in curbing the spread of coronavirus in the country, stated Union Minister of State for AYUSH (Independent Charge) and Minister of State for Defence Shripad Naik. He was speaking on the occasion of felicitating the Corona Warriors at Keshav Sadhana School, Bicholim, and Manipal Hospital, Bambolim today.

Frontline Corona warriors who have been fighting against COVID for the last six to seven months have set an example to society through their selfless sacrifice, said Shripad Naik. He said many people avoid taking responsibility in difficult situations. However, Medical, Para-medical, and Housekeeping staff burned the midnight oil without any complaints, to serve theCOVID patients. To work with the PPE Kits on for 12 hours at a stretch is unparalleled. Their work is not only limited to the caring for patients, but also in allaying the fears and stigma associated therewith. As a COVID patient himself, the minister experienced the whole process from very close quarters, hence the felicitation of  Corona Warriors, said Shri Naik.

Union Minister Shri Naik appealed to citizens to follow the COVID Protocols rigorously, i.e. Use of Mask, washing hands regularly with soap or sanitizer, and maintaining Physical distancing. He said this the best method of prevention until the availability of an effective Vaccine.
