Total cases of coronavirus in Bhubaneswar surged to 27,441

Bhubaneswar:19/10/20: The total cases of coronavirus in Bhubaneswar surged to 27,441 on Monday after 213 new infections were reported in the last 24 hours.

Of the total new cases, 145 were local contact cases while 68 were quarantine cases, informed the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).

The capital city also registered 307 Covid-19 recoveries in the last 24 hours, the civic body said. With this, the number of people who recovered from the disease reached 24450 in the city. The State capital now has 2830 active cases of coronavirus while 140 patients have succumbed to the virus so far.
