New Delhi:19/10/20: The Indian Army has nabbed a Chinese soldier in the Demchok sector in eastern Ladakh. He is identified as Corporal Wang Ya Long.
The PLA soldier apprehended on October 19 October after he had strayed into LAC.
Indian Army sources said the Chinese soldier was given medical assistance including oxygen, food, and warm clothes to protect him from extreme altitude and weather conditions.
Officials said a request was received from the PLA about the whereabouts of the missing soldier and as per the established protocols and he will be returned to Chinese officials at the Chushul-Moldo meeting point after completion of formalities.
