Odisha COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the the state’s cumulative caseload to 2,66,345

Bhubaneswar17/10/20::  Another 2196  persons in Odisha tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the the state’s cumulative caseload to 2,66,345.

Of the total fresh cases detected from 29 districts, 1274 have been reported from different quarantine centers while the remaining 922 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relations (I & PR ) Department.

Khordha recorded the highest of 259 fresh cases followed by Cuttack (175) and Sundargarh (140).

Currently, the number of active cases in the state stands at 23,786. and recovered cases at 2,41,385.
