Odisha total covid 19 positive cases tally stands at 262011 including 25106 active cases

Bhubaneswar:15/10/20: Odisha today registered 2470 new covid 19 cases and 17 fresh fatalities in the past 24 hours, as per the State health department’s latest update.

With the fresh cases, the total case tally stands at 262011 including 25106 active cases, 235763cured/discharged/migrated cases & 1089 deaths.

According to the latest data, Khurda reported the highest of 368 cases followed by Cuttack (186 cases), Sundergarh ( 161 cases), and Angul ( 170 cases). While 1462 cases were detected from quarantine centers, 1008 are local contact cases.

On the other hand, the fresh fatalities were reported from 10 districts. Four deaths were reported from Bhubaneswar and three from Cuttack. While Sundergarh and Ganjam saw two deaths each, and one each death was reported from Nayagarh, Jajpur, Balasore, Boudh, Kalahandi, Rourkela.
