Odia actor Santosh Nayak passed away

Bhubaneswar: 6/10/20: Odia actor Santosh Nayak passed away yesterday day while undergoing treatment at KIMS. He was over 50 years old and was COVID positive.

His debut film in Ollywood as a protagonist is “Mo Bhai Jaga” (1986). He was also a popular radio and Doordarshan actor.

Sources said that he was born in Bolgarh of Nayagarh district as his father was serving there as an English teacher. But, his native place is the holy Ladu Baba Peetha.

Odia film and serial actor Manas Mishra informed that Santosh Nayak was quite well when the former met him on September 18.

“It’s very shocking. He was a very good character artist until his premature demise. He wished to remain popular among his fans as a model father in the reel life,” lamented Mishra.
