Odisha registered 3053 new COVID-19 cases : total tally surged to 2,29,387.

Bhubaneswar:3/10/20:  Odisha registered 3053 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. With this, the tally further surged to 2,29,387.

A total of 46,404 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. So far 33,95,265 tests have been conducted in the state.

Of the total fresh cases detected from 30 districts, 1804 have been reported from different quarantine centers while the remaining 1249 are local contacts. Contact tracing and follow-up actions are underway, said Information and Public Relations (I & PR ) Department.

Khordha recorded highest  561 fresh cases followed by Cuttack (256) and Mayurbhanj (153)

With the new cases, the number of active cases in the state rose to 34,314.  However, 1,94,128 patients have recovered in the state so far.
