3922 New COVID-19 Cases In Odisha the state’s total count to 2,09,374.

Bhubaneswar:27/9/20:  As many as 3922 persons in Odisha tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the state’s total count to 2,09,374.

Of the total fresh cases detected from 30 districts, 2309 have been reported from different quarantine centers while the remaining 1613 are local contacts. Contact tracing and follow-up actions are underway, said Information and Public Relations (I & PR ) Department.

Khordha recorded highest of 818  fresh cases followed by Cuttack (380) and Keonjhar (212). Total of 14 districts recorded over 100 positive cases in the last 24 hours.  

With the new cases, the number of active cases in the state rose to 34,953.  However, 1,73,571 patients have recovered in the state so far.

It is pertinent to mention here that total 49,049 number of samples were tested in the state in the last 24 hours. So far 31,11,766 tests have been conducted in the state.
