Xavier School of Commerce (XSC) hosting its annual business conclave, Privitti’20

Bhubaneswar:26/9/20; Xavier School of Commerce (XSC) will be hosting its annual business conclave, Privitti’20 on 25th September 2020. The theme for the Conclave is pandemic Pandora – Fear and Anxiety to Hope and Pride.’ The event is brought to us by InfinX, who has been consistently doing a brilliant job of getting reputed personalities to share their experience and wisdom about global issues that affect the business world.

It was back in 2015 when Bill Gates had warned the world of the next outbreak. Today, we are in the midst of what he had exactly predicted. The world seems to have come to a standstill as almost every sector in the corporate world is suffering. While vaccines and kits seem a solution, what is keeping people going, is hope; of a new day, a better one. For the fighters, the thing that is keeping them stand, that forms their strength, is the pride they have earned throughout their lives. This event will give our students the much-needed motivation and knowledge from the business sector straight from the vaults of experienced professionals.

To embrace the occasion, we shall have four eminent speakers who shall throw light on the topic and share valuable insights with our students. The speakers include Anand Singh(Co-Founder, Wilson Financial Services), Pankaj Rai (Senior Vice President, Strategy Wells Fargo), Rabindra Jena (Strategy and Program Management, Credit Suisse), and Saket Mehrotra (CA, CS by profession with 6+ years of Experience in Finance Domain)

Ashok Palit has completed his graduation from Upendranath College Soro, Balasore and post graduation from Utkal University in Odia Language and literture.. He has also carved out a niche for himself as a scribe of eminence after joining the profession in 1988. He is also an independent media production professional. He brings loads of experience to Advanced Media, Ashok Palit as a cineaste has been active in film criticism for over three decades. As a film society activist, he soared to eminence for his profound commitment to the art film appreciation and aesthetics of cinema. His mode of discourse is often erudite but always lucid and comprehensible marked by a perfect acumen so rare in the field. A film aesthete with an immense fond of critical sensibilities, he wrote about growth and development of odia cinema in New Indian Express, The Times of India, The Hindustan Times, The Asian Age and Screen. He has been working as an Editor for Cine Samaya from 2002-2004.. He had made solid contribution on cinema in many odia Dailies and weekly such as Samaj, Prajatantra, Dharatri, Samaya, Satabadi, and weekly Samaya.
