Kuakhai extreme left bridge to be closed for repairs

Bhubaneswar:22/9/20: The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has proposed to undertake an inspection, a survey of four bridges on NH-16, i.e, Kuakhai extreme left bridge, Kathajodi extreme left bridge, Mahanadi middle bridge, and Birupa extreme left bridge.

As in the first phase the Kuakhai extreme left bridge will be inspected, all the vehicles intending to go from Bhubaneswar side to Cuttack side shall be diverted from towards the middle bridge from 11 am to 4 pm from September 22 to 27 or till the work is over.

The Commissionrate Police said there is need for diversion of the vehicles for smooth flow of traffic at Kuakhai bridge and the approach roads for safety and security of commuters.

The traffic diversion shall be undertaken for the completion of the project work within 6 days from September 22 to 27 or till the inspection work is over, subject to fulfillment of the conditions as laid down therein by the NHAI.
