Osisha total COVID-19 positive cases have been surged to 1,75,550.

Bhubaneswar:19/9/20:  As many as  4209 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected in Odisha in the last 24 hours. With this, the state’s total count surged to 1,75,550.

Khordha continues to record the highest fresh cases (663 ) followed by Cuttack (491) and Puri (326).

Of the total fresh cases detected from 30 districts, 2441 have been reported from different quarantine centers while the remaining 1768 are local contacts. Contact tracing and followup action is underway, said Information and Public Relations (I & PR ) Department.

With the new cases, the number of active cases in the state rose to 37,239.  However, 1,41,657 patients have recovered in the state so far.

It is pertinent to mention here that a total of 48,075 numbers of samples were tested in the state in the last 24 hours. So far 27,15,822 tests have been conducted in the state.
