Bhubaneswar: 15/9/20:Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today directed officials of all department to introduce E-Muster Roll for labourers from October 2.
The Odisha CM today reviewed the 5T charter regarding e-muster Roll and bank payment of wages in all works of line departments through video conference.
During the meeting, the CM directed the departments of Works, Water Resources, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water, Rural Development and Housing & Urban Development to implement the initiative for projects worth more than Rs 10 crore in the first phase from October 2.
The Chief Minister also directed all Departments to have the system in place by January 1, 2021, for the universal implementation of e-muster roll. The Works Department will be the nodal department in this important initiative under the 5T charter of CM.
The Chief Minister also emphasised on the use of robust technology in implementing this initiative along with enabling legal framework.
The State level training and capacity building programme of staff and Human Resource capacity building will be ensured, the statement added.
Chief Secretary, Development Commissioner, 5T Secretary and Secretaries of different departments were present at the review meeting among others.
