Odisha: 11 Covid-19 Deaths, cumulative positive caseload jumped to 1,46,894

Bhubaneswar12/9/20:: Covid-19 cases continue to surge in Odisha as 11 more deaths and 3777 new positive cases were reported in the last 24 hours.

With this, the Covid-19 death toll in the State rose to 616, while the cumulative positive caseload jumped to 1,46,894, including 34,163 active cases and 1,15,279 recoveries on Saturday, informed the State Health and Family Welfare Department.

While Cuttack reported three deaths, Khordha registered two followed by one each fatality in Bolangir, Jajpur, Kandhamal, Keonjhar, Nayagarh, and Rayagada.

Of the 3777 fresh cases reported from across 30 districts, 2191 were detected from various quarantine centers while 1586 were local contact cases. According to the data shared by I & PR department, Khordha reported the highest 815 novel coronavirus cases followed by Cuttack (368), Puri (237), Sundargarh (148), and Kendrapara (148).
