Varsha Priyadarshini has taken a new turn as she sought police protection

Cuttack: 7/9/20: The domestic violence case filed by Ollywood actor Varsha Priyadarshini has taken a new turn as she sought police protection on Monday. Reports said the Ollywood actress called the Purighat police over phone as she was feeling insecure at MP Anubhav Mohanty’s house.

The police reached the actor-turned-politician Anubhav’s residence at Nandi Sahi in Cuttack in response to the distress call made over the emergency 100 number. The Cuttack District Protection Officer recorded the statement of the actress at her in-law’s house at Nandi Sahi. The Kendrapara MP has reiterated it was his personal matter and he should be left alone to deal with the situation. He said he has deep faith in court and added that truth will prevail.
