307 new COVID-19 positive cases detected in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar:1/9/20: As many as 307 new COVID-19 positive cases have been detected under the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) area in the last 24 hours.

As per BMC, of the 307 new COVID-19 positive cases, 135 are Quarantine Cases and are linked with earlier positive cases. Besides, 172 are Local Contact Cases. This apart, 301 persons have also recovered from the infection of Novel Coronavirus.

Further contact tracing is still continuing. Primary contacts & nearby houses are being quarantined, sanitised & will be under active surveillance, the BMC said. The civic body also informed that all the new positive cases have been shifted to COVID Hospital. So far a total of 10732 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected in Bhubaneswar, out of which, 4043 are active cases while 6635 persons have recovered and 42 have succumbed to the deadly infection of COVID-19.
