Out of the 257 new COVID-19 positive cases in the district, 149 positive cases belong to Cuttack City

Cuttack:22/8/20: Out of the 257 new COVID-19 positive cases reported today in the district, 149 positive cases belong to Cuttack City, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) informed.

As per the CMC, of the 127 new COVID-19 positive cases detected in the city, 47 cases are from Institutional Quarantine among which 26 are from SCB Medical Isolation Ward. As many as 13 COVID Warriors have also been infected. Besides, 33 are from Home Quarantine and 47 are Local Contact Cases.

“Another 76 recoveries have been reported recently,” the CMC said and appreciated the efforts of all doctors & healthcare staff.

A total of 3104 COVID-19 positive cases have been reported from Cuttack, out of which 1227 are active cases while 1860 persons have recovered and 17 persons have succumbed to the deadly infection.
