Out of the 177 new COVID-19 positive cases reported in district, 112 positive cases belong to Cuttack City

Cuttack:9/8/20:Out of the 177 new COVID-19 positive cases reported today in Cuttack district, 112 positive cases belong to Cuttack City, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) informed.

As per the CMC, of the 112 new COVID-19 positive cases detected in Cuttack City, 32 cases are from the Malgodown Containment zone.  While 24 are from Jalua Sahi, eight others are from Behera Sahi. All are contacts of earlier reported positive cases inside the containment zone.

Besides, 11 are from Institutional Quarantine, 48 are from Home Quarantine, and 31 are Local Contact Cases

Moreover, another 51 recoveries have been reported recently, the CMC said, while appreciating the efforts of all doctors & healthcare staff.A total of 1668 COVID-19 positive cases have been reported from Cuttack, out of which 844 are active cases while 814 persons have recovered and 10 persons have succumbed to the deadly infection.
