118 new COVID-19 positive cases have been detected in Bhubaneswar total tally reached 2979

Bhubaneswar2/8/20:: As many as 118 new COVID-19 positive cases have been detected under the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) area in the last 24 hours.

As per BMC, of the 118 new COVID-19 positive cases, 69 are Quarantine Cases and 49 are Local Contact Cases. Besides, 125 persons have also recovered from the infection of Novel Coronavirus.

Further contact tracing is still continuing. Primary contacts & nearby houses are being quarantined, sanitised & will be under active surveillance, the BMC said. The civic body also informed that all the new positive cases have been shifted to COVID Hospital.

So far a total of 2979 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected in Bhubaneswar, out of which, 1268 are active cases while 1691 persons have recovered and 18 have succumbed to the deadly infection of COVID-19.Here give the details of Covid19 in Bhubaneswar:Image
