Odia Society of United Kingdom have contributed Rs 7, 33,500/- to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund

Bhubaneswar29/7/20:: The members of Odia Society of United Kingdom, London have contributed Rs 7, 33,500/- to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF), Odisha for the fighting COVID-19.

Rajya Sabha MP Amar Patnaik, along with Cultural Secretary of the Association Dr. Bhagyashree Singh presented the draft to Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy in Lokseva Bhawan conference hall last evening.

Receiving the cheque, Sri Tripathy conveyed his thanks to the members of the Society for their love for motherland, Odisha.

On this occasion, MP Sri Patnaik said that he had an interactive session with the Odia people staying in London during his last visit to London in the month of June. Members of the Society expressed their interest in rapid development happening in Odisha during and after the session.
