Number of people infected with the coronavirus disease touched 28,107 in Odisha

Bhubaneswar28/7/20:: COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Odisha as 1215 cases were detected in the last 24 hours. While 753 were in quarantine when detected, rest 462 are local contact cases.

The number of people infected with the coronavirus disease touched 28,107 in the State. Of the total confirmed cases, 10,545 are active while 17,373 people have recovered from Covid-19 and have been discharged from the hospital.

Of the new cases that are spread over 28 districts, the highest is from the corona hotspot Ganjam with 332 detections, followed by 312 in Khordha (which is the highest for the district).
