159 new COVID-19 positive cases have been detected under BMC area

Bhubaneswar27/7/20:: As many as 159 new COVID-19 positive cases have been detected under Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) area in the last 24 hours. According to a tweet from BMC, of the 159 new COVID-19 positive cases, 118 are from Quarantine Centers, and 41 are local contact cases. This apart, 102 persons have also recovered from the infection of Novel Coronavirus.

Further contact tracing is still continuing. Primary contacts & nearby houses are being quarantined, sanitised & will be under active surveillance, the BMC said.So far 2150 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected in Bhubaneswar, out of which, 1125 are  active cases and 1011 have recovered while 12 have succumbed to the deadly infection of COVID-19Image
