LINAC Regional Training Centre conducted 2 days Online Training Programme on “Accounting & Book Keeping in Primary Level Cooperatives”

Bhubaneswar:23/7/20: Under the guidance of Shri. Sundeep Kumar Nayak, IAS, Managing Director, NCDC & Lt. Col. Bikramjit Singh, Chief Director, LINAC, Gurugram two days online Training Program on “Accounting & Book Keeping in Primary Level Cooperatives” was successfully organized by Regional Training Centre (RTC), LINAC, Bhubaneswar during 22nd – 23rd July 2020. The training was attended by 100 participants, including 25 women participants from different Primary Level Cooperative Societies of Odisha representing different districts across sectors including agriculture, credit, textiles, fisheries, etc. The program was organized by the Regional Training Centre (RTC), LINAC, Bhubaneswar.

Shardul Jadhav, Regional Director, NCDC, Bhubaneswar welcomed the faculties and participants of the training program and also briefed about the objective of the training program. In his address, he emphasized on training needs of cooperative professionals of primary level cooperatives to develop concepts of Accounting & Book Keeping to run the cooperative societies professionally with a focus on nurturing primary level cooperative societies with financial assistance from NCDC under Sahakar-22 vision of NCDC.

            The training program was specially designed for Secretaries, Accountants, Cashiers etc. of Primary Level Cooperative Societies with a special focus on women cooperators and women cooperative societies. Sh. Priyanath Panigrahi, Senior Auditor & Shri B. P. Maity, Senior Auditor from Bhubaneswar Office of the Accountant General of Cooperative Societies, Odisha delivered the training sessions during the two days.
