All Special Schools in the state, that are funded by Odisha Government and the Centre will remain shut till August 31

Bhubaneswar:18/7/20: All Special Schools in the state, that are funded by Odisha Government and the Centre will remain shut till August 31.

This was informed by the Odisha Department of Social Security & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.

As per the official notification that has been forwarded to Chief functionary and Principals/Headmasters of all Special Schools, Ambika Prasad Pattanaik (Deputy Secretary to Government) wrote, “I am directed to invite reference to this Department letter No. 4833 dated 29.06.2020 wherein it was communicated for the closure of Specials Schools both funded by Odisha Government and the Centre  up to 31.02.2020 and to say that Government has now decided for the closure of all Special Schools till 31.08.2020.”

Besides, Schools in the State have been closed till August 31 in view of the coronavirus pandemic.
